International day of Biodiversity was observed in Christ Junior College on 22nd May. To mark this occasion the members of Prakruthi-the eco club enthusiastically took the initiative to go class to class to create awareness about various issues concerning the biodiversity. This was followed by oath taking where the students promised to plant trees and nurture them and take charge of their locality and motivate people to do the same. Charts containing pictures were displayed in every corridor of the campus. Later a signature campaign was also conducted. It was truly a stepping stone initiative by the members of the Eco club.
“I am very happy to have been a part of this campaign to try and make a change.” said Sneha, one of the members of the club.
