DOCUMENTARY REVIEW – ‘ 100 RUPEES ‘

Prerana, the language club had organised a documentary screening and review writing competition of the National Award Wining Documentary- “100 Rupees” directed by Mr. Prashanth Raj. As the title suggests, the story revolves around the topic of how a young boy and his family struggle for 100 rupees which is just a normal amount for URBAN folks. The short film was heart- warming as it exactly depicts the challenges and difficulties of RURAL people and the poor. The programme was a wonderful experience and touched our hearts, made us aware of the scenario of poverty and reality of most of the villages. It inspired us to inculcate values and absorb teachings of GANDHIJI and other great men.
