Mime Workshop

Mime is an art form that provides space to represent scenes from life, often in a ridiculous manner solely by body movements and expressions. We were given an opportunity by Pierian Spring – The English Literary Club; to learn this art form. It was a beautiful experience just learning the power of nonverbal communication and being able to express ourselves, our names and its meaning, instead of just spelling it out (using the spoken word), like most of us do. Mr. Anand, the resource person has always been encouraging of us and we couldn’t have asked for a more skilled and trained professional to guide us. The highlight of our experience was the performance we put up at the Christmas Celebration 2017. However, this workshop is aimed at not just the stage but has contributed towards awareness of oneself. It was a lot of fun.
