Christ Junior College team comprising of students and teachers have embarked on a two-week long trip as part of Indo Sweden Student Exchange Programme in collaboration with Lerum Gymnasium, Lerum near Gothenburg, Sweden. This programme started on April 28 and continues for two weeks. During their stay, the Indian contingent will study the comparative account of the socio-economic conditions of the people in developed and developing countries. The team will also focus on the Sweden’s educational system, economy, culture and family values.
During one of the sessions, both the Indian and the Swedish groups were divided into groups and were provided with a recipe printed in Swedish language. In this session, Swedish students interpreted the recipe while the Indian students cooked it.
A walk in the nature amidst greenery is what soothes a soul. The Indian team just got to experience this. A three-hour walk through the woods provided a great relief to all. The Swedish group deliberated on the importance given to save environment and conserve biodiversity.
