Christ Junior College’s Singapore Immersion Programme is a week-long study tour in collaboration with Catholic Junior College, Singapore. The major focus of the study is Singapore’s success story as a nation – be it their civil administration, infrastructure, economy or the ‘livability’. Every year, the students of Christ Junior College visit the college and obtain first hand information about Singapore’s success story.

Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is a southeast Asian state off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, 137 kilometres (85 mi) north of the equator. An island country made up of 63 islands, it is separated from Malaysia by the Straits of Johor to its north and from Indonesia’s Riau Islands by the Singapore Strait to its south. The country is highly urbanized with very little primary rain forest remaining, although more land is being created for development through land reclamation.
