Bahubasha Kavita Vaachan

On 18th August 2023 Prerana – The Language Association, inscribed its legacy in the chronicles of Christ Junior College by conducting an eloquent recital of multilingual poems. The “Bahubasha Kavita Vaachan” was held at Darshanateeram in the esteemed presence of Rev. Dr. Fr. Sebastian Mathai, Principal Christ Junior College. With participation from over 75 individuals delivering poems in 10 or more languages, the event served as a splendid showcase of linguistic diversity. Rooted in the theme of nature, the verses reverberated with our profound connection to the environment. A perceptive participant aptly remarked, “Words transcend language barriers, much like nature transcends borders.” In a heartening display of unity, students and teachers from across departments came together to celebrate this literary spectacle. Beyond its poetic dimension, Prerana’s Bahubasha Kavita Vaachan embodied themes of unity, nature, and progress. The event celebrated a universal language: the language of unity through the celebration of diversity.
